@Kevin Reynolds Hi Kevin!  Did you end up investing in Cincinnati?  I'm looking into the area now as I have family in Chicago and go to the midwest often.  I know this thread is dated; not sure where you stand.  Would love to hear of any advice/learnings  you'd care to share!  I'm in need of a Cincinnati real estate agent so if you recommend anyone, send along!!  Hope you're well,

I've heard every historical board is different. You should def befriend them and be nice to them. According to the new ADU laws, they should pass your plans but they're aren't beholden to approve them within a set timeline . They're not supposed to block your ADU from being built but can chime in on the design. We're in Jefferson Park and we had a tilted roof design. They did not like and now we switched to a flat room design and submitting again. Fingers crossed that's all they wanted!! It def adds red tape. Learning as we go too!

Keren, I actually had to halt my application with them due to a technicality on their terms [which didn't suit my needs].  Let me know if you have a specific question.  I'm happy to pass on the contact info of my contact (in case this helps; let me know).

@Kevin Gladstone Did you like that loan officer at Amerisave?  I'm hoping to reach out to them but wanted to work with a trusted loan officer!  Let me know if you'd feel comfortable making an intro or passing on their name!  Be safe,

I'm talking to them now about to do a cash out refinance with them!  Did you ever work with them and/or have a good experience?  Let me know if you're still interested and I can post an update of my experience (if we move forward!!) Cheers.
