Hey Guys!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I own some properties in the New York and New Jersey area.

Also thanks for all the great information about the podcasts and where I can find meetings. Lots of info to digest, as well as the upcoming holiday feast!

Have a great Thanksgiving everyone and I look forward to communicating with you more in the future!

Lisa

That is unfortunate Denise. I too have had this happen to me and it's annoying. Everyone has their own thoughts and views so you just have to roll with the punches and keep going! Lower the price (like you said), sell it, and move on!

Best of luck!!!

Post: Would you discount rent for a better tenant?

I agree with a few of these answers. I think offering a discount to get or keep a good tenant is a great idea. On the other hand you wouldn't want to go to low and start attracting undesirable tenants like @Stephanie Dupuis had mentioned. I also love the idea of offering some discounts if they make their payments on time like @Trevor Rutherford had mentioned. In the end it comes down to what you want. To me keeping and getting good tenants whenever I can is important, no one likes or wants to deal with bad ones. If keeping or getting good ones comes at a minor cost, so be it. At least you know you will be getting rent payments when they are due!
