Hi, I was wondering if anyone know how is the job market for real estate agent in WA?

I was thinking of getting my real estate license but still debating because of the tough market and some of the article online say the agent wont make much. If someone is in the industry and would like to share some of the information to me, I would be very appreciate.

Thank You,

Long

Hi Everyone,

My name is Long and I just starting to look at BP web and finished the book on flipping houses 2-3 weeks ago. I'm new to BP and really want to get my experience in REI but don't know how. If possible, I would really love to have a tutor or any advice where I can start off to get some sort of experience.

A little background about myself, I am originally from Worcester, MA but moved to WA about 2 years ago. I got my Bachelor of Science at Worcester State University in  MA as well. My major was Natural Science. I moved to WA right out of college and had a very tough time of getting a right job that pay good. All my work experience in the past was in retail, customer service, manicurist,  and manufacturing while I was in college and high school trying to get money. During the past 2 years moving to WA, I was working in manufacturing and nails beauty care but nothing was serious or anything that I like.

I am unemployed for a year now and try to focus on a career path that I should take to become successful. As I came through BP, it got my attention right away and give me a motivation to become an REI down the road. I was thinking of getting my real estate license but I don't want to pay all the fees as of now. I want to get some sort of experience first before I do that. I hope I can get some what of response, advice, or a tutor if possible to get my career a kickstart. Any response would be really appreciate.

Thank You,

Long

Thank you VK for your response. Well, I want to become a real estate investor but I've heard that if I get my real estate license then I can manage the MLS for houses and closing deals easier. I don't have to depend on the agent and I can be my own agent and close that deal faster supposedly? But again, I don't know if this is true because I do not have any experience in real estate before and did not taking any classes yet. I js get all these info from J Scott in the flipping house book. I'm just starting to look at taking the classes online but wasn't sure if I should or not so still debating.

Thank you so much,

Long

I want to become a full-time investor but I do not have any experience at all. However. I am really serious of getting into the real estate investing field. In the flipping book, it is recommending getting a real estate license. I've look it up and contacted some of the school around my area. One of the advisor was telling me about working as a salesperson at least 6 months in order to get income before getting my license. I was confused because I'm not familiar with the rules in real estate so I decided to ask you for some opinions.

Would you recommend getting the real estate pre-licensing and take the exam before get any experience?

Do you have any preference between taking the pre-license courses online or in class?

In WA state, real estate career have two paths, one is to become a real estate salesperson by getting 90clock hours. Second is after getting at least 2 years of experience, I can get the real estate broker license by taking the 120 clock hours. But do I need to get the broker license? Whats benefit do I have over the salesperson license?

For the MLS, do they charge every month or how is it work to enroll?

I hope someone can help me with these because I've looked online for any suggestions and opinions but I cant find any. I want to get my career going as soon as possible but don't know where to start now.

Thank you so much,

Long
