If you don't mind a couple dings and blemishes, I've had good luck with the "damaged" appliance section of stores like Lowes or other such places. Sometimes you can find some nice brand name appliances that are brand new but got a dent on the side during shipping or delivery. It's astounding to see the price drop for an appliance with a small dent on it.

I also am a big fan of Craigslist appliances. If you look hard you can find some good quality ones cheap.

Hi. My names Logan.

I've been hanging around the forums and podcasts for a couple months now.

I'm 22 years old and bought my first 3 unit house at 21 I live in Massachusetts in a suburb between Worcester and Boston right at the intersection of 495 and the pike (if your from MA you'll understand) but that means the prices are high.

I moved out of my parents house and into one of the units. So I guess I'm house hacking! I have plenty of issues though and it's nice to meet like minded folk, I've just convinced my parents how much rental properties can help your life and give you bigger pockets!

My goal is to purchase more properties.

Nice to finally post here for my first time!
