Looking for a good basement specialist in the capital region to inspect a basement that seems drainage and/or moisture issues. Does anyone have someone that they have worked with and would recommend?

thanks in advance!

HI, you can find responsable highly qualified inspectors at InterNASHI or ASHI, I am a member or InterNASHI and they require a lot of training to be a member.

Thanks Reinaldo!

In Albany. I've identified an inspector and attorney, but it seems that finding contractors who aren't already all booked up is going to be a real challenge. Do you have any recs for contractors in the area?

Hi Everyone,

I'm Lori and A Newbie from Rockland County, who is looking for a deal upstate. I joined Bigger Pockets last year but never posted.  I've been listening to podcasts and reading some and have now decided to jump in on the deep end with a duplex 203k rehab project. I've just put in an offer/bid on a foreclosed property and when they accept it I'll have to hit the ground running to make it work. Hope to learn more from all of you and find a GC that can help me get this deal done.
