Thanks Satyam, I am planning to use the money to remodel my current home and make monthly payment overtime.  Will the monthly payment become tax deductible as a business expense when I rent it out?  I have money save for down payment for my new house.  Is this make sense for tax purpose?

Should I apply a Home Equity Line of Credit to remodel my current home to prepare for renting? I am buying another house and will be applying for a new mortgage in about 6-7 months.

Thanks for any advise.
