They split fee for rentals posted on the MLS in Boston -- industry norm.

Quote from @Tristan Thomas:

Does this explain where to find wholesalers? Looking for wholesalers to purchase from, not to be one. Having trouble connecting with reputable wholesalers in the southeast MA area. Thank you!

Hi Tristan -- I wanted to note that there are a variety of companies out there that function like wholesalers but don't necessarily fit that mold, or call themselves "wholesalers." For example, I am associated with a firm that provides similar services to that of a traditional wholesaler (providing investment properties for investors) but with some important differentiators (e.g., taking title to the property). Happy to give more info.

Post: CPA vs Tax Strategist

I am a former tax attorney and would classify myself as a "tax strategist." I could design a tax efficient structure for a business (cross-boarder or domestic), however, I could not prepare that same business' tax return. I would expect any good CPA to be able to perform similar functions to a strategist, for example, helping you determine entity type to use as your investment vehicle (partnership, disregarded entity, corporation (C or S) or partnership).
