Hi Will,

Welcome to BP!

Be sure to also look up CFRI association. Good place to learn a lot about the local areas and meet great people investing in the Central Florida Area.

Good Luck!

Hi Katie,

Welcome to BP! Some  of us here from the Orlando area have organized a networking group where we get together once a month to share ideas and experiences. Its has been something good me and I have connected with some great people!  Karen Pena is the organizer, she is awesome and has done a great job on getting folks together. We just met up last night and had a great time! We call it Bigger Pockets Orlando Connect. Link up with Karen and she can fill you in on all the details if you are interested.

Best of luck in your investing!

Luis

Hi Christian,

Welcome to BP! Its a good place to be!

I am an up and coming investor in the CFL area interested in fix and flips. I done some investing several years ago before the market tanked and I am now looking to make a comeback.  I would be interested to hear of any deals you may have available.

Best of luck!

Hello BP! My name is Luis Aviles, currently I am a employed full time as a IT system administrator under contract at the Kennedy Space Center. I do have some light experience in real estate investing from several years ago when I accomplished one flip and had a rental property before the housing market took a dive. Thing got a little difficult for us financially after the crash but here we are! Recently my wife and I have been looking into bouncing back and starting off where we left off those serval years ago. I am currently partnered with a long time colleague and we have joint our assets to invest in properties. It's not much but I believe it's a start for us. We are currently looking into fix and flips in the Central Florida area. I learned of BP from my online research and realized what a great resource this could be. Currently I am taking the opportunity to learn all I can of today's real estate market to help us be better prepared for when we land our first deal. Through BP I learned of of a great book I have been reading (The Book On Flipping Houses). I have learned so much so far and look forward to continue learning. Our goals are to work several flips to build up our portfolio and more buying power. Later we wish to work into rental properties to help creat a consistent income so that some day in the near future I can make this my full time career and become self employed. This time around I plan to tackle this one with a better approach and more knowledgable to help minimize some of the heart aches and mistakes that come with being a landlord (been there done that). Ultimately I would like to work into commercial properties. I looks forward to the networking opportunities that BP has to offer and possibly meeting great people in the real estate investing world. Have a great day every one! Luis Aviles
