Thank you! Surprising that I couldn’t easily find that information online, and that new ordinance flyer is still available to look at online, so I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

Does anyone know what the status is on the tenant screening guidelines that were supposed to go in effect March 1, 2021 in St Paul?  The only thing I see is a star tribune article about a federal judge ordering the city of St. Paul to stop enforcing the new tenant protection ordinance, but I can't find any update and I'm about to start advertising a rental, so want to know where I'm at legally...  Thanks for any update!

Hi All -- We're considering doing a contract for deed/owner financing purchase.  Do you all have any recommendations for a good real estate attorney for drawing up the sales contract and promissory note?

Thanks, Julie!  I guess my bigger general question is more what experienced landlords find tolerable/reasonable in terms of number of showings, length of time to get rented, etc.  :)

We are currently in the process of trying to rent our first two apartments in a duplex. We've had a decent amount of interest and showings, a few applicants, but no solid followthrough or commitment yet.

How long should one expect to show/list a property before getting solid commitments and followthrough? If we are not getting that in a reasonable amount of time, are we overpriced?

Thanks for any advice.
