Has anyone read this book? It's by Michael Corbett, the host of Extra's Mansions and Millionaires.

I personally like it. It's full of tips and illustrations and takes you through every step of rehabbing homes from purchase to sale, as well as number crunching.

Is there anyone else who has read this book and if so what is your opinion on it? Would this be a book you would call your "bible" when getting started with rehabs?

Can someone please explain why it is better to form an LLC rather than Incorporating when starting a real estate investing business?

Thank you.

As of now i am currently renting. I guess it would be wise to invest in a place of my own first instead of throwing away all that money on rent!

Once im ready to start flipping properties will it be harder for me to take out another loan because of my first purchase?

I don't understand how the whole, seller paying closing cost situation works. Can you please explain this to me?

Hello everyone,

I want to get started in real estate investing by rehabbing homes.

I have 6k to invest and my FICO is at 600 and getting better with time. I have a partner with excellent credit (740 FICO) who is willing to secure a mortgage if i find a profitable flip.

I also have another partner who just started his own company/corporation and is currently working on his first flip through an experienced investor.

My questions are:

What is the best ways to structure a deal/agreement with my partner with credit? Should we split the profits 50/50 or should my partner get more since their securing the mortgage?

Can i use my partners corporation when buying, fixing and selling flips? If so, in what ways?

Thanks
