Me & My Wife bought 1 property and two lots really cheap on 2008. We got a "County Treasurer's Resale Deed" for each property after the sale(in about 1 week). We are keeping the lots to develop later, but we are trying to flip the property. We have a big problem! the previous owner don't want to vacate the property.
We call the police (following the advise of the County Treasurer's Office), explain and show our Deed, the "owner" said he got one of those too. Following the advice of the police we file a "FORCIBLE ENTRY AND DETAINER" with a lawyer($400.00) we pay for the summons($90.00),and court clerk fees($252.00). We went to court. The judge denied the case fro "lack of small claims jurisdiction" and gave us 20 days to file as regular court. We did that. We went to regular court and he dismissed our case again. When we ask hin why, he said " Seek Legal Advice from an Attorney".
These are our Questions:
1. Do this judge had something against us?

2. How can we get the previous owner out of the property?

3. Other Steps to be able to put the title of the property in our names.

Even the lawyers tell us diferent ways to do it, but we are skeptical. If someone had this or similar problem, and how to solve it, please give us advice, we really will appriciate it.

Hello Everybody!
We are a Newbie Couple from Lawton,OK. We don't have any experience in REI other than our home(we bought in 2000). Im a Ret Vet and my Wife have her own bussines.

At this time our goals are to get at least 5 Rental units before 2009 ends.

We have bought, downloaded and listened information in "how to invest in RE". We are full of ideas on how to make a "deal" work,
but we still lost.

We hope all of you can help us reach our goals.
