It has 2 major and practically permanent advantages: Weather(especially relevant in the climate change era) and location between Berkeley and Stanford, that no other place in the US can successfully overcome.

This is a really good point. My only concern/question is with no restaurants, no nightlife and a pandemic with no end in sight why wouldn't people just move out of the city for more space (within the general Bay Area) - therefore making SF less appealing but the outskirts more appealing

Hi everyone,

I am currently located in the Bay Area looking for flipping opportunities. I don’t know have any personal experience and am just starting out but wanted to connect with other local investors. It seems like competition is steep in this area and I am wondering how people are finding good deals in this area and any recommendations on areas to look? I know some go out of the area but I’m looking for something that can be managed without getting on an airplane. Also any realtor recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!

Bump

What online courses do you recommend to meet the requirements for the license exam?

Also what are the yearly fees to stay active?

Hi everyone,

I am located in N. Cali and am looking to buy a vacation rental that is cash flow positive but a place we could occasionally use as a vacation home. Where would your top location picks be?

Thanks!

So we have owned the 1st rental property for about 5 years - it has gone up about 200k since purchase. That is rented. The second property we live in we bought a year ago (April 2017) so not too much equity. It’s price has gone up quite a bit too since it’s in a high appreciation area. I don’t like the house at all and we will need to move but the problem is I want to avoid selling it. Given the details of the situation any way we can do that- move without having to come up with a huge downpayment in cash. The property I am thinking of is around 700-750k
