@Kristopher Hanks I guess that’s reality. But filing complaints is something I will also do. Thanks!

@James Wise Thanks - it’s true - I have to weigh attorney costs against collectibles.

Thanks Kim.  Our new PM company has also not been able to contact them.  They did receive the lease agreements, and tenant contact information., but no funds.  And neither did we receive any funds.

The Property Management Company that was managing my Duplex for more than 10 years has suddenly stopped responding to calls and emails.  They are located in Tampa, FL.

When their services started to deteriorate recently, I gave them notice as per contract terms and moved the properties to a different property management company.  Now I need to get my deposits and past due rentals back.

I have been unable to contact them - can anyone suggest how to proceed?  Do I need to engage the services of an attorney?

Any ideas / suggestions are welcome.

Thanks.

@Alex Craig I’m a newbie just starting out in REI. I have invested in rentals before, but have them currently handled by PM companies. Now planning on doing REI as a business, and joined BP. I keep reading about A, B, C and D class areas - how do you associate an area to a class? Especially when you are looking to invest in places in other states?
