@Joe Villeneuve Thanks for the incite. Still educate myself on the RE business. Buying properties just for myself to live in and dealing with one lender. Good to know that maybe I should have shopped and negotiate a little more when it came down to lenders.

@Sina Simingalam I was thinking maybe I should take a loan out on the money I have invested since the interest rate is low. I would be paying myself back from my understanding if I went this direction.

@Marty Bauer Good Stuff! Appreciate taking the time to respond. Currently be doing my business with NFCU on both home. Should I continue? Do you think it's better to form a relationship with a small bank vs a nationally known bank?

@Joe Villeneuve when you say speak with a few lenders on different options. Is it better to talk to lenders in the location where I may want to buy? Or just call around in the area where I stay and just get an idea?

Need some advice. I'm currently in the military and looking to invest into a multi-family unit using my Thift Saving Plan as maybe a downpayment to get start. My concern is I already have 1 property townhouse being rented out and another property single family home that I'm ready to close on at the end of the month. I want to pull from my Savings Plan to begin investing but not sure how to go about it looking at my debt to income ratio and having the two property. Too many thoughts running through my head and just want to make a conscious decision.
