This month, MAREIA is once again hosting its own version of the popular ABC television show, Shark Tank.

On the TV show, entrepreneurs bring all types of business ideas to a panel of millionaires and billionaires and ask them to invest in their companies. If one or more sharks likes what they hear, they will invest their own time and money in making the business successful.

MAREIA’s Shark Tank will be limited to real estate deals only. This event gives investors the opportunity to pitch their investment opportunity to the “SHARKS” (aka, investors, hard money lenders, bankers, etc.).

Bring your deals to the Shark Tank and you may walk away with the money or partner you need for your real estate project.

Even if you don’t have a deal, you can learn a lot by watching other investors present their deals to the sharks. Some investors will be well prepared with all the facts and figures. But that may not guarantee them a deal.

Other investors may be “winging” it and find that the sharks like the numbers in spite of the presentation.

Real estate investing is both exciting and lucrative. But without the basic fundamentals of property analysis, market analysis and hard numbers, it’s easy to lose a lot of money.

This is an opportunity to learn or improve your pitching skills as shark participants receive on-the-spot feedback, delivery techniques, and strategies for immediate improvement.
