Hey everyone,

I am a new real estate agent in Michigan and I have been browsing rental property options for a few years now. I am getting to a point where I am ready to take the leap and buy my first investment property. I am looking for multifamily properties. I want to start an LLC for the property I get. I have done some research regarding LLC's and opening a business account. Can anyone share their experiences regarding LLC's and obtaining financing with me. Is it hard to get a mortgage with an LLC that is newly created? Do they look at your personal income since the LLC will not be generating any income at that point. Any information or tips would be appreciated. This all seems so foreign to me. I am a nurse trying to transition to the real estate and investment world.

Thank you!!

Marie

Hey Kyle,

I am also new to real estate and wanting to invest. I am in the process of looking for my first deal.  I have been a nurse in Michigan for the last 6 years and have had some burn out from working in an ER through covid. This got me thinking what other options I may have. I also read Rich Dad Poor Dad and it changed my perspective on things. I have now been reading multiple books regarding real estate investing. I even got my real estate license a few months ago to learn more about the business and meet like minded people. I'm not sure if you feel this way, but I am having a hard time jumping in and taking actions with my plans. I have read books and done research but am scared to take the leap.

I wish you luck with your future investments and can't wait to hear about your progress.

Thanks!!
