Nope, I wasn't clear. I am just wanting to invest in a hard money lending fund...and wondering how to vet that fund.

I am interested in investing with a hard money lending firm, as in investing my own money to fund deals through them.
What steps should I take to vet this lending firm?
I've spoken with them, seen examples of previous deals, I understand how the business works, etc. I guess I am wondering what else I can do to verify that the lending firm is solid?
To be clear, this is not to buy my own property. It is using my money to fund someone else's loan request through this hard money lending firm.

Thanks!

This has all been very helpful - thank you!

Not sure if I got your question right but there's nothing specific to Mexico. You can use the same tools you'd use to analyze a short-term rental in the US. While there are differences when it comes to investing in Mexico, the mathematics are the same on both sides of the border!

Feel free to DM me if you need any further help.

To be more specific with my question, I am wondering about online tools to analyze market data, etc.
For example -
AirDNA has data. I'm assuming the accuracy is the same as for the U.S. market.
Rabbu - only U.S. properties

For those of you investing in short term rentals in Mexico, what tools are you using for analyzing potential properties?
