Planning to buy STR properties in Palm Desert, CA this year so looking for an agent who is well versed in STR investment strategy, primarily works with investors, knows the Palm Desert / Cathedral area and local STR regulations.

Any rockstars out there this community would recommend?

Hi all! 

How do you track your leads?  I started with only a few potential properties, so the rental calculator was a good tracker for me for a while, but now there are too many and I would like to make notes on progress and track follow ups I need to do.  I was going to create a rough excel spreadsheet to jot down some notes, but wanted to see if anyone has a good template or a program they would recommend.

@Sam Shueh thanks Sam! Would you recommend holding off on our purchase? I do feel like we’re a peak with prices and rates keep going up too.

@Michael Zuber thanks Michael. Yeah, having to put $4000 out of pocket just for mortgage seems a bit of a stretch for us. Plus, even when we move out and rent that unit as well, we would stIll need to pay $1500-2000 out of pocket, which would make it difficult to save up and grow our portfolIo So at this point if we can’t find a cheaper property in LA area, we’ll most likely start InvestIng in rental properties in Fresno or Dallas just to start building our portfolIo and continue paying rent.
