BiggerPockets family!

I am happy to announce that I have officially closed on my second multi-family property in the Middletown,Ny area.

This journey only gets more exciting, new challenges with this this home is that renters are currently paying below market rent. It will be hard to really raise the rent during these troubling times. I can not wait to get started and see how to work and build my relationship with new tennants.

Both areas are very rental friendly, any questions just ask away, be patient and make sure you get a deal you can afford

Good day bigger pockets family!

I just got an accepted offer of 265,000 a 3 family owner occupant home. The house has two, two bedroom apartments which I am thinking to rent at 1,500 each. The basement is a one bedroom and I am thinking of living there or have a family member live there until I can get situated and move. My biggest issues is that there is one furnace for upstairs apartment and in basement is forced air heating. Hopefully my mortgage is in the 2k range and I can get by on 500 utilities. Do you think it is worth it? If i rent basement for a few at about 700 it will still cash flow upwards of 1k which is a goal of mine
