@J Martin, I appreciate the insight and the great tips. I just joined two meet up groups in the local area. Buy/fix and hold is a strategy that captures most of my interest. I am very much looking forward to digesting the information provided on this site.

Really excited to learn and network. I'm a huge fan of Bigger Pockets. I'm currently attending ASREB (Arizona School of Real Estate and Business) and am a former graduate of California University State Fullerton with a Marketing concentration. I currently work for a commercial investment company (SANTÉ Realty Investments). At SANTÉ we spend most of our time acquiring retail and apartment properties. We look to acquire properties with creative deal structures but only if it results is a win-win scenario that exceeds that of traditional financing methods. My goal is to acquire my first multi-family property within the next 8 months.
