Thanks guys for the replies. Unfortunately, I drove by today and the for sale sign is gone now.

Thanks Brian! I will run the numbers to see what I would need to put to make a profit and then go from there with the agent, if they respond.

Hello,

It has been a while since my first post but I am finally back and living in the Fort Worth area which gives us a chance to actually start looking for REI.

I was Driving for Dollars today and came across the house in the pictures.

Zillow says it is a pre foreclosure but I am not sure if that is right?

I had attempted to call the person in the "for sale" sign but did not get an answer so I am posting a Zillow pic. The prices of the houses that are not for sale seem about right from what I have been seeing but I know (correct me if I am wrong) the Zillow prices are not accurate. That is why I am asking what someone would guestimate their purchase price to be based on the not for sale houses being accurate? Our next door neighbors house (we live 4 blocks away from here) just sold their house for 120k 3-2 1200sq (it was a flip)

I did not get pics inside but it looked like it was taken care of - just a few carpet stains - paint - "the usual". I could not really see anything else through the windows other than it was empty. (looking through the window is ok right? as long as you know/think it is empty?)

only this house and half of the neighbors on the right flood like this on this whole block.

The fence on the left side was just repaired - within the last 2 weeks - I drove by 2 weeks ago to check it out - nothing has changed except the fence on the left.

the right side still needs repaired.

The houses around it are (moving south)

3-2 1150 sq -121k

3-1  985 sq - 105k

2-1  955 sq - 102k

4-2 1600 sq - 137k

Thank you Asma Ahmed, and best of luck to you!

Thank you Nathan Lenahan, I completely agree! I used to think Fort Worth was crowded LOL. Thank you, I will look for that and plan to go as soon as I can. Definitely, if there is anything IT related I can help with I will be glad to.

Hello Bigger Pockets Team,

I have been a lurker here for some time and have learned a LOT, so THANK YOU ALL! Especially Josh and Brandon for your books and podcasts! I look forward to reading your next book. I will set up my keywords :)

About Us: My name is Mark and my wife is Briana, we are both 25 and living in the "far north Dallas" area and have been for almost a year now. We were brought here by our jobs but hope to move back to Fort Worth in the Richland Hills area within the next year.  I work in the IT field and my wife in the Medical field.

Current Goals: Network with like minded people. Find a du-tri-quadplex in Fort Worth to move us back to Fort Worth. Find a local job once moved or (wishful) start a business in the IT field.
Final Goal: We both wish to transition into the real estate business and ultimately be able to live off of rental income

Experience: We have none, only that of what BP has taught us.

I look forward to conversing with everyone and possibly meeting a few of you!
