I am now on episode 63 after about 3 weeks of listening whenever I can. When you listen to the lots of successful investor's stories, you will learn the common mistakes they make and you will get an idea of the general strategies most implement. Good luck on your journey to success!

Hello. My name is Mark Nano from San Francisco. I am learning a lot about real estate investing through the BP podcasts and book recommendations. I'm now on Ep.59 (2014) after 3 weeks of constantly listening to the podcast whenever I can. I did listen to 1 newer podcast (Ep.356 with Joe Asamoah) because the title caught my attention as I also live in a very expensive market. I will definitely apply his tips on my first investment property. I was very surprised to hear Brandon Turner's voice on Ep.356. I did not recognize his voice. He had a much deeper and calm voice back in 2014. and what happened to Joshua Dorkin? Why does he not do the podcast anymore? Wait, don't tell me. I will keep listening on the podcast until I find out. I want to find out the progression of how BiggerPockets evolved from the very beginning to where they are now through their stories and interviews in the podcast. The BP podcast is definitely more interesting than any shows on Netflix.
I have a full time office job. I also drive for Uber at nights and weekends to get extra income so I can come up with a downpayment sooner for my first investment property by end of 2020. In the meanwhile, I am networking with local bankers and real estate agents that hopefully would be able to help me achieve on getting my first investment property. I already decided that the BRRRR strategy will be my niche. My goal is to have 5 rental properties in the Bay Area within 2 years. I would like to meet local BiggerPockets members from the Bay Area. I heard in one of the quick tips on how to do that but I am still trying to learn how to navigate the BiggerPockets website. Any tips will be greatly appreciated. I am very excited to learn more about this fascinating world of real estate investing to build everlasting multi-generational wealth. Thank you BiggerPockets!
