Post: My first multifamily agency loan (Fannie Mae / Freddie Mac)

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to buy my first deal here in the States with an agency loan (Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac). It's a 30 unit apartment building in Oak Forest, IL (suburb of Chicago). 8% CAP, stabilized property.

The mortgage broker wants me to prepare my PFS (personal financial statement) & RE Schedule, but I don't have much to fill out, because my main business is overseas and I don't have any properties here.

I will appreciate if you guys share your experience with your first agency loan.

Royce, I just did it.

Does anyone knows something about Ken McLeroy's management company in Phoenix (MC Companies)?

Hi everyone,

I'm going to Phoenix next week and I'm looking to connect with people and assemble a local team for my apartment buildings acquisition plan.

Me and my partner are looking to buy 2 or 3 projects with 50 to 180 units each, built after 1980 and with 7% current cap rate.

Please share information about potential sellers, property management companies, lawyers, government officials & etc. I don't know much people there, so I will appreciate every contact and help.

Thanks in advance.
