Thank you everyone that responded to my Quiet Title Question. I have with a little leg work through the various government agencies found that the tax deed certificate recorded against my friends property was in error.

I'm a retired city of Chicago Police Officer, that also worked as a part time realtor. I have flipped properties, as well as own for long term investments. I currently own 24 units. My properties are from 1-6 units. I own 20 different vacant lots in the Chicagoland area. I'm looking for advice on a legal matter involving a vacant lot. How to obtain quiet title on a property that a friend bought from the city of Chicago 23 years ago and found out that a tax deed was recorded with the  CCRD on her property but does not show up with CCA office and she has paid taxes on it for all that time.  We believe it was recorded in error.
