I'm most interested in building a long term portfolio. To get started, I'm looking for low risk investments that cash flow from day one. More specifically my niche will be purchasing single tenant NNN properties with National accredited tenants to start. As i get more involved and comfortable I'll start to branch out into grocery anchored retail centers, and industrial/manufacturing 'flex' properties. Essential buildings like hospitals and medical centers also interest me.

As I stated above, I'm junior and open to hearing suggestions as well!

Hello everyone,

I'm in the beginning of my journey to real estate investing and financial freedom. I'm trying to grow my network to include those who have or are looking to invest in commercial real estate (particularly NNN). I'm not particular to an area, which means I'm 100% open to connecting with people around areas of the country that are not home to me. I don't think that I will invest in MA, but I'll also never pass up a great opportunity to do a deal in my backyard.

Why NNN? I think that commercial NNN leasing is right for me because of the stability, long-term growth, least amount of effort required after purchase, and the scalability. On top of that, I like the idea of getting creative with financing, the tenants (whom are national creditors), and general safety of investment.

I'm pretty new to BiggerPockets (I made my account a while ago but have been inactive). Brandon Turner's book "Rental Property Investing" was the first time I had heard of this platform. I've also heard people talk about how great it is through listening to various different RE podcasts, and the BiggerPockets podcasts as well. It seems like this is a great place to network with all you who have done it before, and those who are starting out like myself.

A little bit about me. I've lived in MA my entire life, have family, friends, coworkers, and close contacts who thrive in real estate investing (some of them are even in properties overseas!). None of them however are in the NNN space (which is my desired niche for reasons listed above). I currently split rent with a close friend from high school and I have a great career (9-5). What I've come to realize is I'm trading my time for money and I'd prefer it not to be that way.

I hoping to meet with other investors who want to collaborate on deals, feed off each side, bring something to the table, and overall have a great professional investing relationship with.

Maybe we could hop on a zoom, phone call, email, DM, coffee, lunch, etc...

Thanks, Matt
