Hey there! Im in Scranton pa and im looking to get an outlet installed in a unit for a range hood. I was gonna do it myself but everyone says im gonna "burn my house down" because I "shouldn't even be allowed to program a microwave". So after my mom gave me that sound advice i figured i  would go to the forums to see if there are any folks that had good experiences with electricians in Scranton. Thanks!

So I finally did it; I just closed on my first four unit last week! I'm going to be house hacking and am so excited and eager to get going on the business side of things. But I have a question that I was hoping to get cleared up. At the closing table I heard from my lawyer and loan officer that they don't bother using a lease! I was shocked. I thought this was always done? When I asked why, they said it was just considered a month to month, with each payment almost acting as the lease. Also, if they had any issues it was easier to evict the tenant, not needing to pry over technicalities... Do any of you guys do this? It sounds pretty appealing honestly. I would consider it as long as I could still get a security and of course be doing things legally. What do you think?

Hi there! i was just trying to find out if wholesaling properties in Pennsylvania is legal. I seem to find answers on both sides of the spectrum whenever i search around on the forum and google. Also, does anyone double close contracts anymore? I heard that is highly frowned upon now. If you can't tell, I am very new to this. I started down the rabbit hole of real estate investing a few months ago when i decided to buy my first house, and now I am more curious by the day. Any information is greatly appreciated!!
