@ Arthur Banks my first property was a duplex that I occupied as well. For the first two years, I literally just banked the rental income into a savings account from the other unit, which provided a nice cushion to cover any major expenses for that building and a down payment for the one I purchased after. Hello Everyone, Outside of my regular 9 to 5, I prefer to be called Mona. My last name is Butler. I have dabbled in real estate investing since 2005.
