Hello.   I am looking to move to the area I have been dreaming of for years and begin my real estate investing.  I dipped my little toe into the  market by helping my dad turn one of his properties into a rental.  All has gone well and now as we see how the patience has paid off for him, 6 years later I am ready to make my own plunge.  I am looking to get into a multi unit to house hack but don't really know how to be able to make the right contacts to find off market properties as multi units are rarely on the market. I'm also interested in learning hands on about wholesaling and buying to rent properties through a partnership, but again I don't know who to invest my time in.  I am self employed and have time to do research in the area but I want to spend my time in the right area.  I am obviously new and am consuming the information in here daily but still fell I am missing direction.  My question is what is the best place to start to get the right contacts for wholesalers and those that do partnerships in a particular area and how to pick the right people to listen to? Thank you.
