This is a great question. I was wondering the same exact thing! Why not have that money come right back to yourself, right? Ideally, it makes a ton of sense. Hopefully someone with an answer will respond soon! Best of luck!

Hello BP Community!
I'm new to REI but definitely not the thought of it. It has been something I have been wanting to get into for a while now but the time just hasn't been right. I can assure you that the time is definitely right now and that is why I managed to maneuver my way into the BP community. I'm interested in flipping but I'm also interested in learning about all of the possible ways to invest in real estate! At this point, I hope to continue reading blogs, books and forums as well as hearing podcast. Ultimately, I want to utilize the resources given to me by Bigger Pockets as well as members of the community. I really just want to learn and know what I'm doing before making my first investment! Knowledge is power right?
To get a little personal, I'm from Chicago, Il, born and raised. I currently reside in Joliet, Il.; A southern suburb about an hour out from the city. I'm a stay-at-home mom to my two beautiful children and have been definitely utilizing my time at home to gain a better understanding of REI. (Well, when I have free-time anyway!) I'm also a part-time college student majoring in Business and minoring in Marketing. Nonetheless, I look forward to networking and meeting new people here on BP!

No, I'm not debt free or wealthy. I'm a stay at home mom and part time college student (yes with lots of loans!). In fact, I have yet to make my first move in the real estate investing world. BUT so far real estate investing has given me a new love, passion & most importantly hope.
