Just wondering what types of networking groups you found most helpful in building business relationships in terms of commercial property management in your area? Thinking about joining the Chamber of Commerce in my area, but wasn't sure if there are other avenues I should take as well?

Hi All,

My name is Mercedes and I'm from the twin cities area. I currently work in marketing for a commercial and residential property management company. I've always had an interest in real estate -- as a kid I spent a lot of time playing with various home design programs, learning how to use AutoCAD from my dad and watching HGTV (LOL yes I was kind of a dork!). I went through a real estate course years ago, but shortly after the market took a huge downturn and I never took the test. I'm hoping to get my license in the next year or so though.

It's been so long since I've done anything in the real estate circle, so if you have any good educational resources or tips, I'd greatly welcome them!
