Hello all,

Thank you for the warm welcome. I am very excited about this career change. @Jessica I have messaged you directly and look forward to speaking with you.

@Rubelyn, thank you for sharing. But can ask you about the general real estate forum for professionals? Is that forum restricted to those with their license or can students currently enrolled in a course still participate within the forum?

Thanks

Hi everyone,

My name is Mercedes, I'm a recent college grad and after a short stint in PR, I've come to realize I'm not as happy as I thought I'd be working a 9 to 5. I've always loved homes, architecture and interior design. Most young girls liked Vogue, my favorite magazines as a child--I kid you not hahaha--were: Architectural Digest, New Homes Guide and Apartment Guide.

I'm currently enrolled in an online course with The CE Shop to receive my salesperson license in DC. It's my hope come spring that I can hit the ground running in any capacity possible.

I'm very excited and thrilled at the prospect to join this community. Any tips or advice to what someone, who is still taking the course to receive their license, can do to help heighten their success rate upon certification? ^_^
