And as I am not a professional contractor for foundational work, I would not have realized that the work was not done, unless I had the reinspection which I was recommended not to do because it was fixed

we did A final walk-through, and it looked as though the repairs had been done. But there was still things in the house when we went for our final walk-through, so it was difficult to see everything. Also, we were homeless at the time and they knew that so we were kind of pushed into a corner of We have to close, even if we did find something, that wasn’t repaired

My husband and I closed on a house in October. We noticed a few things when moving in that we thought were fixed at closing per our repair addendum. We had a contractor come out to look at the issue and he gave us a quote and said that nothing that we had asked to be fixed was fixed. We asked the contractor to come out that had supposedly done the work. He told us that he was only told about one of the issues on our addendum. The issue that we’re having to fix is foundational! I then contacted the sellers real estate agent and she was cooperative until the point that I asked for the correspondence between her and the contractor that they used. I’ve contacted our real estate agent and he said that he’s going to give me some advice tomorrow, but I’ve been waiting for a while. What should I do? We are very low income and really can’t afford a lawsuit right now.
