Hi everyone! My wife and I are planning on liquidating our current residence. We want to move into another rental we own which recently switched to a month to month tenancy. I have never issued a notice to vacate and am planning on giving a 60 day notice, even though our state only requires 30 days. I guess I'm just trying to get an idea on how to best approach the situation. Just sending a notice seems cold, and I worry that it may lead to more issues such as holdover tenancy. However, turning it into a conversation may lead to a misrepresentation of options for the tenant.. anyone run into this situation before? Thanks for your time!

Hey Everyone! My name is Michael Bogdanoff. My wife and I are from sunny, Los Angeles California and are trying to get out! We are eager to get into investing and are focusing on purchasing a four-plex as an owner occupy for our first investment. Los Angeles has great potential but lack of capital and a growing resentment towards the congestion is motivating us to initially seek out greener, and cheaper pastures.
