My daughter is fresh out of college. She has a great job. Steady income. Very financially responsible. She has been saving for years to have a down payment for a home. But her credit score is too low for approval for a mortgage. Mine is high and I know I could be approved. I own my car and my home and have no mortgage payment of my own. My question is could I get a mortgage in my name for her? She would make the payments and everything. I just didn’t know if this was even legal. I want to help her and she has the money for the down payment. Just wanted to know if this was something I could do?
