Thanks to everyone who has welcomed me to BP.  I look forward to actively participating in the forums and learning from the veteran investors that are a part of this group.  I welcome any and all advice.

I am from Lexington, Kentucky--the Thoroughbred Horse Capital of the World. The horse is "king" in this area with pristine pastures surrounded by white wooden fences. This is a college town, as well, with some 30,000 students attending the University of Kentucky and thousands more attending smaller schools. Rental property is extremely scarce, especially in the range of $800 to $1200 range. I have spent more than 30 years in management from large corporations to non-profit organizations. My experience has allowed me to manage multi-million dollar budgets and interact with C-Suite executives who depended on my advice to make decisions. Four years ago I decided to try property management and real estate as my latest career. My experience has been mixed. Here I am and looking for support from this community. I would welcome any advice and camaraderie that anyone may share.
