Post: CT RE Broker thinking about getting reciprocal FL License

Good Afternoon BP,

I am a full time Real Estate Broker/Investor in Greenwich, CT licensed in CT & NY. My parents plan on buying a place in Naples in the future. Florida is a reciprocal state to Connecticut for licensing so I was toying around with the idea of getting a Florida license as well. I don't think I would do any selling, but maybe a place for investment in the future. Anybody have a CT and Florida license? Anyone investing in both CT and Naples, Florida? I would love to hear from some Naples, Florida agents as well. I plan on taking a trip sometime in October.

Thanks,

Mike

Adjacent to the open living space are 2 bright bedrooms. The 3rd room can be easily used as a 3rd bedroom, office, nursery, or living room. The lower level includes a partially finished basement with a laundry room, storage, ktichette, and attached garage. Walkout of the lower level to a flat and spacious backyard great for entertaining. @Andrew Winter congrats. And I think it's a great idea that Amanda is going for her Real Estate License. I left my corporate job 4 years ago and became a full time agent. Best thing I ever did. Let me know if you guys have any questions.

Hey @Amauris Lora I don't know if they will travel, but I used Joe Lattarulo on my house with Housemasters. I believe you can google his contract info. I'm not sure I can post it here.

Hey Jesse E.,

I am a bit late here on the response, but I guess better late than never. I am an a Real Estate investor based in Greenwich. In addition, I am a full time Real Estate Broker covering Port Chester, Greenwich (Mainly), and Stamford. If you are still on the hunt for the property I would suggest you open your search to Greenwich as well. Although it is pricier to get your foot in the door taxes are extremely low. I look forward to connecting and speaking further.

Ceasar Rosas Port Chester has really revitalized as of late, but it's taxes are still 5x the amount of Greenwich when comparing apples to apples. Although the purchases prices are much higher in Greenwich at least the goal is to make that money back. You don't make your taxes back and they only grow. Byram, which is a part of Greenwich and borders Port Chester, is the next area I believe that will turn. It's one of the last "affordable" areas near the metro north line (Port Chester Stop).
