Thanks everyone for making this a good topic. I'm not sure why people's posts were removed. It's good to know that there are opportunities available in the Springs. It will still be a few months before I'm ready to pull the trigger on any deals, but at least now I know of some people that I can reach out to if I do decide to invest in the Springs market.

Hi everyone,

I'm an expat and looking to invest in turnkeys. I'm interested in the Colorado Springs market. Does anyone know of any turnkey companies in Colorado Springs? Does anyone have any experience in the Colorado Springs market who could give me any pointers? Has anyone invested in turnkeys in this market before?

Thank you both for your warm welcome!

@Jojo Garcia I have heard that the Dallas area is like Hansel (so hot right now). My concern is that limited inventory and its hotness could be driving the house prices up, and that good deals and optimum ROIs may be hard to find there. This is just speculation as I know nothing about the Dallas market (the only market I really know well is the San Francisco Bay Area, but I definitely won't be investing there). What kind of price to rent ratios are you seeing in Dallas right now for single family homes? Besides the jobs, is Dallas a safe and desirable place to live? Is Texas a landlord friendly state?

@Sam Bates I'm not necessarily opposed to multi family homes. It's just that I have some understanding of single families, but multiple family homes still seem a bit intimidating to me. The ROI you mentioned sure is tempting though... what kind of prices does your company usually ask for its properties? Just looking for some ballparks.

Hello Everyone, I'm new to the community. My name is Mike Quinn, and I've made my permanent base all the way over here in Taipei, Taiwan. I want to start doing some long distance investing. Most likely in single family turn keys. I'm in this game for buy and hold, cash flow. I'm not looking to turn or flip. I want to get a few properties and use those profits to invest in more. I really have my sights set on growing my investing into something big, but I need to start first. I'm excited to do some networking and to get to know some other investors. Are there any other expats here? Anyone investing from Taiwan, or Asia in general? My background in real estate is quite limited. I've watched my family manage real estate that they owned since I was a kid, so I'm a bit familiar with the wonders and pitfalls of single family rental properties. I hope to start investing within the next six months, and I hope I can make use of this community to learn about which markets to dive into, and to help find great turnkey companies. The US is a big country (especially compared to this tiny island I live on now), and it's hard to know where to begin. Which market is right for me? Are there any other options for me besides turn keys that I might not have considered? Unfortunately, my ability to travel back to the states is a bit limited at the moment and probably will be for the next couple years. So flying to Indianapolis (for example) to check out neighborhoods isn't really an option for me at the moment. I have a job here, and a flight to San Francisco (where I'm from) is about 10 hours. For this reason, networking with some nice folks from this community will be invaluable for me. I'll scour the forums to get as much info as I can. But I just thought I'd introduce myself first. Can't wait to meet you!
