@Alex Dayes you shouldn’t invest the 10K in real estate it’s too little money. Put it in a secure mutual fund until you save up $50,000 and more. Then you can go ahead and look into multi family properties depending what areas you are looking in.

@Pedro Padierna. Maybe you don’t have the right agent showing the property. You may have to hire someone else to rent your apartment.

Hi, I would like to know how to find a good wholesale property around the NYC area. How do you find good properties? Who do you connect with? Which platforms do you use to search for the right person to connect with?

I’ve been a real estate agent for two years and I’m looking to get my start in my first property. I live in nyc and most single to multi family properties don’t really cash flow and the barrier to entry is very high. What areas around New York City have properties with a lower entry barrier and the properties cash flow easier. Thanks in advance for your advice.
