I like the concept. Have seen a variety of non-traditional structures with high booking and decent ROI.
For example, grain silo converted into 2 BR 1 BA STR
Potato shaped structure in ID has been wildly popular past year
Converted tour bus with added deck and rooftop seating area.

1st property under contract. A few minor bumps but nothing major. Flying down to walk the property in a few weeks.
As a side note, have had interesting/productive conversations in the ATL and NC markets.

This is my first long-distance investment and have been in discussion with Texas Omnikey.
Has anyone worked with them in the past or have knowledge of this company?
Thanks much.

My wife retired from her career after 21 years. She is passionate about real estate and loves the planning process around flipping. She also has connections to the healthcare world and can see using a real estate license to help colleagues in the future.
I am a newbie and have done 3 deals. The concepts in the course are interesting and valuable particularly around real estate law, negotiating, and contracts. I'm looking at the certification as a valuable piece of education but don't see myself selling other people's properties.
Are there any negatives to both of us obtaining licensure? My next deal is in another state. Plan to acquire some properties in that state over the next 12 to 24 months. Will there be a benefit of obtaining licensure in the state other than in which a person resides?
I know this topic has been hashed out for the last six years but I could not find a thread related to a husband and wife team.
Thanks in advance.
