My neighbor is 92 and has a home that needs a lot of work, but with MAJOR upside.  We have mentioned to her daughter that if the day ever came which they needed to sell the home they should come talk to us first as we would be very interested in purchasing it.  What steps can I take now to secure my future interest in this property?
