                         Can anyone tell me that what are the code requirements to consider a bedroom in the Basement as Legal Bedroom? I know for sure that an Egress Door or a Egress Window along with the specific requirement,is mandatorily required,but i have the following Questions for Basement Bedroom.

1) What are the Requirements for Size of the Bedroom?

2) What are the requirements for the Ceiling height of the Bedroom?

3) What are the requirements for the Ventilaton and Lighting in the bedroom?

4) Is it necessary to have a Closet in the bedroom or not?

I would like to get some suggestions and advice about a Property that needs a complete Rehab.What are the Pros and Cons to hire different Contractors to perform different work,rather than just one Contractor Company doing the whole Rehab?

Steve D,Thanks for the reply.It is a full Rehab Property,but if you don't mind,would you share his info with me?I might have to get the Rehab done in different stages with different Contractors,so if your contact gives me an reasonable estimate,i can hire him for the work he performs.

I have a Contract in Place to close on a house by next week.This is my First Rehab Project.I have been looking for the houses for the past 6 months and also paid for Seminar/Workshop to study the Flipping Process.I finally decided to jump in this business,because i think i have found a house,in which i might make some money,but obviously not without encountering number of hurdles and obstacles.I have come across my first hurdle,which is, I am in need of a good General Contractor who can do the Rehab work and give me an estimate on it.Does any one in the Cincinnati Region has any Recommendations?Any help is really Appreciated.Thanks
