Well Brian, I want to thank you first for the response. To answer your question, he owes the bank more money than what the property is actually worth and he is not yet ready to sell the property because of the economy. I was thinking that maybe using the sandwich lease approach would relieve him of his situation little by little and put a couple extra dollars in my pocket. What else should I do?

I am currently in talks with a landlord. He has agreed to do a lease option agreement with me. Once I have the home under contract I was going to rent it out to another tenant. I was wondering if I could rent the property out to a tenant who is on section 8 or housing.
