100-150k will not get you a turnkey duplex in Hyde Park, Oakley, or PR. The rest of those neighborhoods are more realistic..... even in Norwood that's tough to find.... so I'd suggest Westwood, Cheviot, Evanston for that price range for a turn key product.

Watching the prices closely I think you are right about Hyde park and Oakley prices.

Westwood, Cheviot and Evanston are B class neighborhoods and I guess the chance is higher to find a property that I can live in and be a good investment in the same time.

I am looking for duplex in Cincinnati area for house hacking.

Good condition. No fixer upper. Generates cash flow.

Price range 100K-150K depends on the area.

2 bed/unit is a plus.

Areas:

Hyde Park

Oakly

Pleasant Ridge

Norwood (but far enough away from Bond Hill and North Avondale, south or around St Rt 562).

Golf Manor

some parts of Kennedy Heights, Silverton, Kenwood.

Monfort Heights

Evanston- Some parts

Delhi

The west side in Cheviot and parts of Westwood.

this is my first real estate investment so I would appreciate any thoughts/recommendations.
