Sorry if this is a repeat of question. I am new to real estate investment and was interested in looking at some auction websites. Can anyone help me figure out how to find out if there are any outstanding liens on a possible home that's up for auction. Thank you in advance.

Hello Larry and fellow BP amigos,

Our goal is to buy and hold one priority every year for the first few years and follow that up with 2-3 proprieties for the next 5-7 years if we can. We both have full time jobs and are looking to make REI a part time strategy to improve our personal wealth. Also, I am attracted to the fact that I can offset some of my earned income with my passive losses in RE.

Our home was built in 1991 and is good shape ( needs a window fixed and a new fence) and our local market is still hot even after cooling off last few months.

Newbie here. I need help. Here is my situation.

My wife and I want to get involved in REI but don't know what to do with our current home.

Should we re-fi and rent it out and cash flow ~200?

Should we sell and pocket ~70k for reinvestment?

Should we cash out with re-fi to gain capital for investment?

Any ideas would be great!

Thanks
