Hi Jalissa, I'm aware of 3CDC. However, have not pursued anything yet, because they seem to be active a few miles away from my place. I'm encouraged now that you mention Central Avenue, because that is only a 2 blocks away. Thanks for your comment I wish your family all the best with your opportunity. 

@Jay J. I have no plans resulting in a net gain at the moment. So any ideas are welcome. Indications are that to fix the place is going to cost more than what I can recover. Thoughts are to hold on until gentrification creeps up closer, however the holding costs are not attractive either. I plan to complain about the valuation in January 2017 and if successful, that will provide some respite from taxes.
