Brie Schmidt - I plan on generating as much knowledge on buying and holding real estate. I have some money saved up, but I do not want to invest it foolishly. I'm well committed to obtain any and every bit of information needed to pursue a career in this field. As a start off, I plan on buying a multi family home and renting out the other apartment/s. Like I've said before I have little to no knowledge of this Market as of now, but from what I have read, this seems like the safest way to begin if you're not loaded with cash or a ton of investors with their pockets open for you.

Nick Patterson - Thank you for the advice. That quote does hold a lot of meaning to it. I definitely don't want to teeter totter between committing and waiting for the perfect moment. I will plan accordingly and learn from my mistakes.

Linda - I guess jumping right in would seem like the right thing to do if this is really want I want, because waiting sometimes leads to fear and doubt. Thank you again for the motivational words.

Nathan - Thank you for the advice. I have read countless times that screening for the best possible tenant is essential to long term rental property success. I guess it must be top rule to go by when having rentals. I appreciate the words. Linda - I'm passionate about a lot of things at this point in my life. Just depends on how I look at any situation in front of me. I guess it may sound cliche, but seeing my kid grow up smiling in a life filled with stability and adventure has been my fuel since the day she was born. I've always thought about being my own boss, running the show or sharing it. I have some experience with carpentry and Installation. I've painted countless times. A few of my close friends work as Union Carpenters and Electricians. So that's a plus. D.I.Y. Projects have been a hobby of mine for a few yrs now as well. I plan on taking things slow as possible, until I can assure myself that I'm ready in all aspects. I understand that if it were that easy then everyone would do it. I don't know the statistics on success rates in this career field, but I plan on pursuing it to my best ability. Thank you so much for the response. It's always great to hear from others.

My name is Michael and I've been obsessing over the thought of bringing some passive income into mine and my daughter's lives for some time now. The job I work for now just is not cutting it anymore. I want to expand and grow as a person. Well, that and the thought of being my own boss someday takes the cake. All though at this time I know little to none about the Real Estate Market, I was recommended this site/app by a few sources. I've started to read a lot into this career field and after every book, blog, and article, I've grown to want to test the Real Estate waters even more. Though there is a chance I might get bit from time to time if I'm not careful, I still want to take those risk towards the bigger picture. So, if there is anyone out there that might have any words of encouragement or advice for this newcomer, I'd greatly appreciate it.
