There is a plethora of Cannabis-zoned land in CA, and farming (non-cannabis-related) is already quite prevalent out there. However, I do not know growers, or much about the market.

How would someone like me go about getting connected with people in the know who would either want to grow on land that we buy, or tell me more about the mechanics of the business (like why there aren't already more grow facilities out here?!)

Is anyone else in this forum still in college? I'm a rising senior and am interning for the summer, and I really want to get started on this but I have work and also a project I need to work on... Would appreciate some words of advice / commiseration!

Also, what are you guys investing in? Are you investing in your collegetowns or are you unrestricted by the fact that you are in college? I feel like my collegetown is my most familiar territory, and that I should start where I know the market...

@Giovanna Hi Giovanna! I am considering residential, maybe apartments or single families. My education is in general real estate but within the larger specification of hospitality assets. Do you have any advice where I should head into?
