Yeah need accountant or attorney for tax sheltering and asset protection. SoCal properties.

Thanks any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Bigger Pockets Community,

I am continually impressed with the caliber of talent here on this site. I was just curious if anyone had So Cal attorneys or asset protection group they can refer.

My family has a number of properties but they aren't protected properly and we really need some help creating the right entities and structures.

Any advice or referral would be greatly appreciated for Trusts or Asset Protection.

Thanks!

Hi BP Community,

Been really impressed with the caliber of people and advice in the forums so far. Just wanted to pick the brains of the BP Community.

I have property mgmt experience I've been managing various 15-25 unit complexes over the years and my family has some commercial property that is paid off. Just wondering if it's worth cashing out and refinancing to acquire more properties right now.

My father has a B Contractors License and I have a C17 Glazing/Windows license. We are interested in doing some FixnFlips or Additions to add value. Currently we don't have a lot of cash on hand but are willing to refinance out of some free and clear properties if the deal makes sense.

Any lenders out there or should we just do traditional/conventional refinancing? The properties free and clear are little strip malls and commercial buildings with existing tenants.

Looking for mentors or partnerships. I'm willing to do a lot of grunt work and I speak 3 Chinese dialects if that helps. Also have my RE Agents license too.

I'm located in the Pasadena area but willing to drive out to anywhere within reason.

Would love to join the next one or this one if it hasn't happened yet!

Hello Bigger Pockets community!

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm an experienced Property Manager with 7+ years of exp managing multiple apartment units ranging from 3 units up to 25 in the San Gabriel Valley. (Southern California)

Graduated from UCLA in 2003, I have fairly extensive entrepreneurship experience. I've ran my own Computer Gaming Center, had ownership in a dessert franchise with multiple locations and family once owned a Chevron. I still help my father time to time as he is involved in the Windows/Glazing industry focusing on Residential and Commercial Storefronts.

My family also has a few properties paid off we are looking to refi and acquire more properties. Would love input and advice from experienced RE investors and BP community. (Esp those in the Los Angeles area!)

Looking for a mentor or any local firms willing to work with someone such as myself. Willing to do some grunt work as long as it's meaningful and leads to good education/experience.

I speak 3 Chinese dialects - Mandarin, Cantonese and Taiwanese.
