Overall, I would not recommend Bobby Michael from Alabama Home Inspections. Within 1 month of close on a rental in B-Ham, I had over $600 in repairs for some A/C issues and some furnace issues that were not adequately addressed in the report. No mention of potential issues. Additionally, the inspector claimed he could not access the attic because it was blocked. The tenant had a few boxes below the attic access, so yes, it was "blocked". I did not get the impression he was eager to do above average work. Overall, I would not use his services again.

Anyone have any input on the Brookside area (35214) of Birmingham? Looking at a property, $73K, vacant, but market rent is ~$850. Anyone have any experience in the area?
