Hi.  New to multifamily, though have a rental portfolio of 9 rentals (SFRs, townhomes etc)  that we have managed for some time.  will be completing a 1031 exchange on 2 of our properties and targeting small/med multifamily (10-30 units).  Live in KC metro.  I have read the various blogs/opinions/books etc and it seems like the general consensus is most people don't use buyers agents in this category as we are expected to kinda "know the ropes" already. while we have a good sense of real estate investing in general, we don't have experience with these bigger properties and wondering how people have found advisors etc to consult etc to help through the first few purchases (not including just hiring a buyer's agent...)

Any help appreciated!
